ArtWise through Veterans Day

ArtWise is a Community Cultural Arts Series with this first year dedicated to Those Who Serve in the military.

A number of our downtown art galleries, the Waukegan Public Library, the Lake County Courthouse, the Waukegan Park District/History Museum, and Bowen Park and Clockwise Theatres have themed offerings during this period.
Check out the Events Calendar for offerings, dates and times.

The centerpiece of Those Who Serve is an exhibit of photographs by Ryan Spencer Reed at Urban Edge.  Ryan is an award-winning photojournalist who was embedded with the 101st Airborne Band of Brothers in Afghanistan. The photographs he took while embedded speak to the experiences of soldiers sent to war on behalf of our country.  Urban Edge will be open Mondays through Saturdays, 11am - 8pm.

Would you like to volunteer for ArtWise?  Contact Volunteer Coordinator Jane Ferry.

ArtWauk is the third Saturday of every month.

Celebrate the growing arts community in Waukegan's
Arts & Entertainment District!

Remaining Dates for 2015 are:
November 21st and December 19th
